Man, those waves are big! Was that at Ehukai? I went there on Saturday and the waves weren't that big, but Sunday I heard the waves were even bigger.

Where's North Shore Beach? You'd know if it was Waimea. Maybe Sunset? Man, being away from Hawaii for so long makes me forget so much.

pix are mos def Sunset Beach. Other than Wiamea Beach Park, Sunset is probs the most visible surf spot on the north side of the island.

dat's 'cuz it's pretty much the only big ol' open stretch w/ white sand right along the road. tourists love to stop there since it's convenient (no marked stalls to haggle over & once you park, just step over the concrete pillar and you're on the beach already! ).

local townies often pass by Pipeline without even knowing it. you gotta pull into the tiny parking lot with the little blue sign that says Ehukai (or you can park on the other side of the street). when you walk up & over the little incline, you'll see da buggah on the other side. if you stay looking at the wave from the shore den, yes, Backdoor is on the left.

k-den, pau.

by the way, you guys are nuts quoting from "North Shore"
