Noooooooooo.... I saw it and.....um... WTF. Worst thing i've seen this year. I think a G35 outing for chicken little would be better. lol. no, but seriously,it would.
Inregards to the toys for tots, i think someone needs to find out exactly when it is. dates, times, etc.... I think it's too late for mike to do anything in regards to the shopo escorts. I'm pretty sure he said that it needed to be done a while ago in order to get them involved. If we do it like last year, expect problems. Tickets, people getting lost and so on.

^ nah, everyone just needs to remember that we're all a group. try to understand people may get stuck at traffic lights, so stop on yellow lights, etc. if some fall behind, pull over, or set up a meeting spot.

Nah, not so much the lights. The other clubs that had motorcycle escorts cut in between us then blocked half our crew so that they could get in. That pissed me off a lot, no f#@kin class some of these clubs. I can understand a police escort, but if some grisled homo on his bike wants to stop me, i'll hit em.

The information is as follows in regards to the Toys for Tots this 2005 year.

November 27, 2005 Sunday
10:00AM Starts
11:30AM Ends
MARTIN WAREHOUSING TOYS FOR TOTS CARAVAN sponsored by Martin Warehousing & Distribution. The event is expected to have 200 vehicles. It will start at Magic Island Parking Lot, to Ala Moana Park Dr., to Ala Moana Blvd., to Kalakaua Ave., to Monsarrat Ave., end at Paki/Monsarrat Lot.

I am pretty positive that it is too late to ask about any sort of police escort. You can ask....but unfortunately it still takes them a while to find the police volunteers to help out, and this event will happen in 2 weeks. It would be best to get the solo bikes to volunteer though...for obvious reasons.

If you go last, the odds of being cut off will be reduced a little. Everyone seems to be fighting to be first. Why...I dont know.

The only issues with the event is the fact that since Nissan Corp of Hawaii pulled out of Hawaii, there has not been any other company that stepped up to fork out the $12,000 it costs to provide for escort and road handling by the police. Knowing the organizer, I would doubt that an escort would be provided this year....but I could be wrong since according to reports, its "sponsored" by Martin Warehousing...but to what extent, I am not privy to that knowledge.

Everyone that is willing to participate should bring at least 2 new toys to drop off at the end of the run.

No problem.

Hopefully this time nobody gets pulled over for anything. It was really a shame and "dirty" that that cop pulled over someone participating in the event. And for a ticket due to no front plate. Talk about a cheap shot. Any other time and maybe it would have been more "acceptable"...not like we were speeding and being reckless. *sigh* Oh well...whatevers...
