Safety Check

Well, just moved back to Maui so I need to get my safety check and all that good stuff done. Stupid question, but where do I get that clip that sits below the rear bumper to put a safety check sticker on? Does the safety inspector already have these?

I bought my car in Cali. They don't have stickers there. Sounds like the dealer gives you a plate.

Yep, the dealer rivets a plate on the bottom of the rear fascia, below the license plates. Many guys put the safety check between the digits on the licnse plate(don't know if this is legal). You may want to check on the legality of putting the sticker there because there are different county statutes. 1320 most likely has those in stock. If not, dairy road has an audio shop that carries some car parts. They are across from sports authority behind roxy somewhere.
This is what it looks like mounted on Jermy's car
Sorry jensen, had to borrow.

Placing anything on your license plate (except registration sticker) will get you a ticket. Hows this...the fuka couldn't take it off in one piece so he put it back

Are you serious with that ugly thing hanging off your bumper? C'mon now.

We have a sticker that goes on the inside of the windshield.

hahaha...that was pretty funny, that they even bothered. There's sure fire ways to remove saftey checks, even the ones that have been over-scored. you work in a shop long enough...you'll learn how.
