i actually got a new sound system put in my car in december, and i finally decided to post it. let me know what you think. i should be able to get some pics up tomorrow.

looks good. i like Eclipse decks. the one you got is geez. as far as components in that price range, i prefer the Diamond Hex series. i really love the sound that Rainbow produces too. why did you place the tweeter in that location?

 

thats the mid range speaker...didn't know where else to put it. the tweeter is in the factory location.

as for choosing eclipse speakers...i wanted to have a complete system from 1 source/manufacturer.

 

hey i didn't know that the 4080 box fit the eclipse 10" woofer. hows the sound quality?? i have a bunch of eclipse equipment that i'd like to transfer over once i get my g35c.

 

hey man, would you mind one day if i could listen to your sub w/ the 4080 box? kinda debating on whether to get box or not. i'd rather have a slot ported mdf box but this box seems to be a way better fit as far as trunk space goes. obtw, tight setup!!

I was gonna go all infinity kappa components, amps, and subs. i know...iknow...its corny.

 

nice. my first car had a eclipse deck back in 98 i loved it. wish i had the funds to work on my sounds. BACES keeps trying to get me to buy springs and rims....but i'm more interested in working on my sounds first. wanna keep the car looking stock for awhile more

 

it sounds good when its working...i think i blew out the sub already i'm planning on going on the cruise, so i hope i can get it replaced by then.

 

no sub right now...the voice coil separated from the cone or something. the bright side is its a warranty thing, so just gotta wait for the new one to come in.

 

How do the three ways sound? I am thinking of getting them.

Check out Eclipse's new monitors--very nice. I think they would look tight in the headrest area! By the way, nice system!
