Tire hookups?
Honestly Al...I think that you might get a better deal on Tire Rack. I too would like to support the local owners...however they are still asking a bit too much. Most ask for at least $250-$300 per tire. Granted it depends on what brand you are looking at as well. Eurosport charges $20 per tire to install..and it costs about $20 to ship to Hawaii. With even that, ordering them in still becomes cheaper.
Same can be said about the rims. There are some people here that know others that work at shops....but most of them have ordered from the mainland as well and still came out saving money. Unfortunately Hawaii just does not do enough volume to allow for more aggressive pricing...without cutting into their own profits.
On the bright side, if you could mention what rims you are looking for, I am sure that would help a lot in figuring out if someone here can help you in regards to pricing.

Mm. Didnt realize shipping from tire rack was so cheap...I will have to look into those...not to mention that I have to buy some wheels first too
What wheels im looking at? Enkei RPF1s, Work S1 3 pc, LE37T/TE37. But if I find a good deal on something else, that might sway my decision...we'll see tho.

you should consider the Wedsport as their 19" is 19lbs.
57S pro's in the RMC. Or if you dont mind keeping it at 18"...Do Lucks Double Six's would be really cool.
Looking at performance or just looks and originality. The S1's come in 19"'s? Hmmm just noticed that they do. 19X11 in +24 and 19X9.5 in +17 not too bad. Ouch..roughly 950 per rim. 1100 for a custom color...
Do Lucks are about 750 per rim. TE37 = $800 per rim. Enkeis are odd in the sense that you can get the 10" rears in the "correct" offsets...but to get the fronts you have to opt for the 8.5 widths. Hmmm
Either way..you are looking at 3K for the rims alone. Good ones at that. Bear in mind that the cost is worth it since the roads here are like crap. Get rims that you like...but you should also get strong reputable rims. Lower profile tires will make your rims absorb more of the shocks and potholes. Dont get cheaper rims just because you want to change the rims...you will pay for it later when they bend and you suffer from a blow out as well. Reputable rims because of the balancing issues. Usually less quality rims tend to be more out of round from the factory versus a better made one with tighter quality controls.....so I have been told by other dealers.
A good set of cast rims are another alternative. Rays Gram Lights and 5Zigen FN01R-C are good too. The 5Zigens are really aggressive looking and you could use 18X9.5 +12 (rear) and 18X9.5 +22 (fronts), run 275 rears and 255 fronts and still cost you about $2300 shipped. Gram Lights are in the realm of about 700 per rim.
Once again...what are you looking for looks versus performance. Originality versus strength. Are you set on 19's. I can tell you flat out that 18" tires have a crap more choices in BOTH street applications and race applications. AND they are A LOT cheaper (approx savings of >100 per set). There is a reason that I bought another set of 18" rims and tires. I am actually going to be saving money in the run versus using 19" tires.
Granted I am sure that there are better pricing deals out there online and thereabouts.....however still pricing is going to be close to 3K for a good set of say forged rims, and approx 1K for the tires...in the 19" sizes.
Anyhow, it really is up to you...goodluck.

But the RPF1s are available now in 19x9.5 +22 (or 19x9 +18) and 19x10 +22.
And i'm also checking out Evan's J8s.
