I'm at IOH right now...

...just jumped on their wireless network from my lappy. I decided to take my G in today to get those squeeky brakes looked at. Todd is helping me out, he seem pretty cool. Hopefully, it's just the pads prematurely going, in which case it would be covered under the warranty.

He also told me about the recall on the fuel line, so it might take a few hours longer than I expected. Oh wells, i might as well get it all done in one day...

Anyone here already bought in their G's for the recall? If so, how long did it take?

...beanz, aren't u supposed to be working? Oh, I forgot. You work for the State. Cruising the Net is your job. muahaha

Anyways, I'll ask Todd about it. I'm gonna have somebody drop me off at UH so i can go steal yums car for the day. he he...G to Focus. Mean da bean.

So I just talked to Todd, and it looks like that it was my brake pads that prematurely wore out. Seems like it was a common problem with the G, and that it is still covered under a 3 year, 30K mile warranty. *whew!* So I'm gonna be getting new pads and new rotors.

Beanz, I'll ask Todd when he comes back around about your fuel line problem...

yo beanz, just talked to him. Did u ever bring in your car for service or anything here? He just needs your VIN to pull up in the computer to see if your car is one being recalled. He wasn't too sure if that was symtoms of the recall, but if you want, text me your vin and I'll ask him to pull it up nukka....

jensen, just go see the parts guy over at tony nissan, just givem my dads name and they'll take care of you...tell'em hes your uncle or something, not that you already call him uncle anyways

edit:
FYI - Honda Oil filter fit too, and they have a larger filtering capacity than the Nissan filters. There was also mention that the larger filters for the pathfinders will fit too.

Hahaha... **** I was just there at IOH around 10:40am. I dropped off my car to have the E-Brake Adjusted, Axle click fixed, tire patched. Hehehe... Was your car the white one with gold rims? I saw it reversing into the detailers bay for a wash.

yap! that was my car! They just got done with it at that time. I was no longer sitting there in the waiting room. Todd hooked me up with a loaner blue 4dr g35 for the day. They got done pretty quick! Well, I did drop my car off at 7am, but they were done before 12pm. Awesome service! And the squeeking is GONE! =)

Sen...I got yo washers man. Got half a dozen fo ya!

Heheh... My car is still there, but they gave me a Black 4DR 05 G35 which suits me just fine, it's like my car grew 2 doors lol...

The rev matching downshift is pretty neat for an automatic.

^ actually, we have pen cams, and ***got neighborhood watch. i see your bros friends passing by everytime in their eg hatch.

i made the comment to frost because he knows i'd have probably fizz'd all over the interior, and repainted the exterior "Eye Piercing Pink."
