Alright guys. My first mod is coming up in about a month or so and I'm semi noob at modding. Research time.
I was thinking of dropping my g35 about a inch or two. What kind of struts and springs do you recommend? How would I go about doing this? What should I get first? I was planning on going with Tein's coil overs but my friend says it's pretty sketchy I want the look and the performance. Any suggestions?

Actually, now that I think of it, I think I might just buy some springs and lower the car for now. I don't think I'm getting coil overs.

Get the Tanabe springs...I have them on my car and they work great. I still have my stock shocks as well....waiting for them to give out before replacing.... They have 3 different spring ratings too. Here is the write up!

I hope you're not going too low, the coupes have a hard enough time with the stock height as it is with hawaii's roads being how crappy it is and jacked up parking structures like victoria ward centre.
i actually wanted to drop my car about an inch. would the sustec be low enough for it to look nice and not hit? When I say I mean hit speed bumps.

if you're only going for an 1" drop, get the Tein S Techs. nothing is wrong with them coupled up with oem shocks. if you want performance more than the comfort they offer, pair them up with either dpecs, or koni yellows.
I just got my tints done at special t tinting. 20% hehehe
Some guy there told me to go with shakajoes shocks and springs any idea what they are? never heard of him. He also told me it'd be better if I just cut my stock springs
