Re: Honolulu people here?
the injen intake is louder than hell....about 3-4 thousand rpms, the power is really noticeable. Before that power band...the car(auto) bogs and kind of lags in the power stroke. Cant really tell the difference cause now I ride a bike, and the bike is really powerful.

Re: Honolulu people here?
ok...sorta off topic...not really tho. It was rather funny on Sunday riding home on my bike entering the nimitz overpass on ramp...a blue coupe came rumbling close to me on my 6 revving his engine. A military dude!! Anyway, hate to be a bad apple but of course, he asked for it...I downshifted into 3rd and by the time I hit 6th, I realized I was doing 140. I slowed down, he caught up a few minutes later, gave me the thumbs up and mosied on his way. Sorry to whomever you were...

Re: Honolulu people here?
I just got my first citation lastnight ($77)(Cooke/Kapiolani). I thought I would beat the yellow light. As I saw the cop on the corner, I slowed down (panic) ending up passing the red light light. Will this be on my driving record for the next 3 years? Will this affect my dtric insurance? Thanks

I heard that they changed some of the penalties with regard to it's affect on your insurance, but what do I know. If you think you were in the slightest of not deserving the ticket, then you might want to fight it if you got the time. I went to trial for my right turn on red in a no right on red section ticket and it got dismissed, but I did have some valid reasons why I should get the ticket. I did get a speeding ticket a couple of months ago, but I don't think my insurance changed any. Seems like if you don't change anything on your insurance policy and just pay your bills, they don't do anything to it.
By the way, is that G/Z cruise still on? I haven't heard anything about it for a while.
