Check out my BOOM BOOM setup

hey, just thought i show you guys my sounds. my friend and i just got done a couple of days ago. nothing real special and not car show material...but pretty damn good for doing all our own work. the sub hits hard and pretty deep.......everyone thinks i'm running two 10's. subs out my friends toyota with 2 12" kickers cvrs. everything still looks stock (which i love). crossovers are in the door and rear panels. needed to make my own spacers for the rears. and my eq/sound field controller really let's the XR's go. crisp, clean, incredible sound in the car and from far away. lol, plus, i can still fit my golf clubs, backpack, etc in the trunk. here's the equipment list:

*JL Audio XR650 CSi (seperates up front)
*JL Audio XR650 CXi (coxials in rear)
*JL Audio 10w6v2-D4 (wired at 2 ohms)
*JL Audio 500/1
*JL Audio 300/4
*z-enclosures custom box
*z-enclosures door spacers
*V35 double din conversion
*alpine 3342 (11-band digital eq/sound-field controller)
*crappy panosonic deck (while i make up my mine......either the alpine iwa-200 or the kenwood 7017/8017)

z-enclosures off ebay. i think box + door spacers + shipping = around $150. good quality, honest businessmen, box just kinda small (0.8 cubic feet). but perfect for one good quality 10" (like the w6). w7 is too deep

same here......that's why i went with zenclosure. now i'm glad i did, 1080 is really nice but i'd wanna buy two for each side (since i have a symmetrical ocd....lol). that's two boxes, two subs, more power needed = a whole lot more $$$$$.

Looking very nice! Glad the amp worked out well for you, I know it worked when I removed it, but you never know what might happen.

Again, great work, it really looks professional!

lol....good thing you never waited. that wasn't me. the G never left waianae yesterday.

my license plate is "rated-g" (gay, i know, but they wouldn't left me have "G-SPOT") so if any of you'll see me somewhere and wanna check something out or introduce yourself (if i didn't already meet you at the jan. 29th cruise) please feel free to do so!
