2007 Infinti G35 Sedan

The Infiniti G35 accounts for one in every three Infinities sold in the USA. To say this new model launch is important, would be a great understatement.

The new model has a next-generation VQ engine (already one of the best out there), with dual exhaust and dual intakes. The automatic comes with paddle shifters, plus a lot of the technology from the more expensive M model has trickled down to the new G model.

Carlos Ghosn said that the G offers a lot of value for the money, and will be on sale next November.

No performance specs as of yet...

I thought that this was going to be a complete model makeover but instead it looks liike they used the same body, chassis, etc. So this will probably be around another 4 years or so before we see an entirely new model.

Go to nissannews.com for more pictures, from some other angles it's pretty cool. As expected it's not a total departure from current styling... But looks pretty good. check out the interior and new instrument cluster, alot better than the current orange...

goto nissannews.com, check auto shows. new york auto show.

According to the press release, this car is based on the M platform; at first it looks like they took the existing body style and just revised the front and rear end; but if you look closely, this seems to be an entirely new car and not just a "refreshening." The 3.5L VQ engine is 80% new and has a new block designed to provide more "silkiness."

Official performance specs aren't out yet but they're expected to be "over 300 hp." This hp rating should reflect revised 2005 SAE horsepower rating standards.
