I noticed "Cadillaccarl2001" in Rides had clear coners installed, where can those be purchased?

How many times have I told you people how innovative cadillaccarl is? That he deserves everyones votes for his custom work. You can't buy the clear corners, he custom made them and they are absolutely beautiful in person. They are an EXACT replica of the amber lenses. They even say "NISSAN...blah blah...DOT...blah blah" on them.

The only thing is, is that you have to be brave enough to take your stock amber corners apart, spray the backing a silver colour so that the bulb reflects (they are orange inside), and then bond the new clear corner casing and the stock backings together as one.

I tried it last weekend with a heat gun and melted one of the stock corners a tiny bit (not noticable on the outside) because the glue and pieces just wouldn't come apart. I'm gonna try a different method this weekend, because I want these on so badly.

How many people would be interested in purchasing these clear covers from cadillaccarl and are willing to do their own installations, like I am about to do? No price yet, he just wants to know if there is interest - yes or no =)

 

If I have time this weekend to install them, I will have instructions and pix posted of procedures. Anyone else? =)
