Spoiler Brake Light Question
Spoiler Brake Light Question
I bought my G35 with the promise that the Aero pckg would be put on after the dealer received the parts. When the dealer installed the spoiler (and underbody treatments), he engaged the brake lights on the spoiler but did not defeat the brake light on the rear deck (between the subwoofer). Does this sound like a mistake, do others have BOTH sets of upper brake lights functioning?
Re: Spoiler Brake Light Question
Went out to garage to see wife's G35 Sedan that was purchased with the factory installed Areo Body Kit. Her car has "no', third brake light on rear deck (between the subwoofer). Interesting...

Re: Spoiler Brake Light Question
Actually, I have seen a few cars on the road with the same set-up. They have a lighted spoiler and a 3rd brake light between the speakers. This looks silly, you should have them disconnect the 3rd brake light at the very least. And better yet would be to have them remove it completely from the vehicle. I plan to get a spoiler added to my G35C after it gets here but I don't plan on having 2 sets of lights.
