Which lights??
Which lights??
Would someone who changed their standard halogen lights post what kind of bulbs they used to get closer to HID. Model numbers etc... would be appreciated. Looking at the PIAA and Sylvania. Thoughts??

Re: Which lights??
I went with Razo H1's in my car. The color temp is 4500. There are a few pics in the rides section. They were a bit cheaper than the Piaas, $58 at www.optionsauto.com.
Re: Which lights??
I used the HKS H1s for the lows and the Sylvania Silver Stars 9003STs for the fog/highs.

The Sylvania are a little whiter than the HKS.

Re: Which lights??
Try Koito White Beam as well. Koito is the Japan OEM manufacturer of headlights, taillamps and bulbs of all kinds. If you own a Japanese car and you look at your stock headlamps or taillamps, chances are you will see the Koito logo on them. I will trust an OEM manufacturer long before some of the "Ify" makes, the quality and look is nearly unparalleled. They are one of closest matches to HID I have come across. They are available at Signal Auto in Torrance, California. Good luck!
Re: Which lights??
I used PIAA Xtreme whites. The light is very white but the fog light illuminates the lower bulb reflector in blue when viewed from straight on. This goes away when you hit the high beams. The brightness is about the same. No yellow in the light at all.
