I want some open opinions on both of these exhaust. Right now i have the Stillen cat back but have still been reading alot about both exhaust. I love the stillen exhuast it sounds amazing through out the whole RPM range and you can really feel the difference in power. The only thing that im still concerned about is that i have heard the stillen is about 20 pounds heavier than stock and that the HKS is about 15 pounds less than stock, with our cars weighing so much (around 3500 pounds i believe) already everything counts.

Also, how does the HKS really sound? ( i dont want anything that sounds like a honda civic here...cause civics suck!)

I have read alot of threads on the HKS but havn't heard want i want to here also if anyone has any pictures they could post that would be awesome

I just rode in someone's G today that had a HKS exhaust. As for looks it looks GREAT with the titanium tips. As for sound it sounded pretty much like stock (maybe a little deeper tone) until he got on it, which resulted in a nice louder deeper than stock sound. (sorry I couldnt be more specific about sounds, but as exhausts go you really have to hear them first hand)

I've been thinking about these two systems as well. If you dont mind me asking does the stillen exhaust drone at all while idling or while cruising? And how is the performance.... I've heard it offers the most gains out of all available exhausts.

 

You will get overwhelming support from the HKS owners on here. The HKS is that good, but go with what you really like. I have HKS and I LOVE it...the sound with HF cats is even deeper and a lil louder. It is definently an attention getter. I have been stopped at least 3 times from guys saying they loved the sound and how much they liked it..1 guy was in a van, 2nd was in a maxima, and 3rd was driving with his wife in a pick up. I didn't figure they would be exhaust lovers.
