Crome Z-Tube

Any one know where to find a crome z-tube. View the link below. I would like that item, but in a crome/polished finish. Thanks!

Hi, we offer Z tubes in Chrome, Polished and Carbon Fiber. All UTR tubes are 3" diameter and come complete with all hardware.
Thanks.

Are you still looking at October as the release date for the new version of the CF G-tube?

Don't do it unless you want the bling. The metal will heatsoak far worse than the plastic 350Z intake pipe.

Thanks for the advice. My original plans included getting the z-tube as well as my intake manifold thermal coated. I would like the z-tube to match my intake manifold so i'll have a bit of bling under that hood. I'll post pics when I'm done.

might be n00b, but how do you apply a thermal coating? What do you use to insulate the tube?

no question is noob. i went to a shop to have the thermal coating applied. thermal coating should help the air inside the z-tube stay cooler. will this give me 5 - 10 hp? not likely. its just something you can do to help the air stay cooler.

regarding insulation there's nothing i know of.

The best one by far is the G3 Motosports. It is the only one that has the factory brace and has the mounting port for the air flow meter built in. It is very heavy duty and a steal at $89. I have one with a JWT popcharger and it looks, sounds and performs awesome. No heatsoak problems either. Check it out here:

Feel free to PM me if you have questions or would like a picture of it installed.
