whats the best set up?

ok i have a true dual (custom) exhaust right now but im kinda getting sick of the loss of low end kick..i mean yeah it starts pulling after about 3k..but i miss the original g35 kick (and the sound)...so im just wondering what you guys think...ok im thinking of completely putting the stock exhaust back on but im afraid of losing a lot of the power my other mods have given me...do you think that keeping the stock exhaust and keeping on my intake, spacer, headers, and adding hfc are a good idea??...i want that low end kick but i also want that pull in the higher rpm's...please help!!...also i heard that adding some pullies will help with the low end..thanks for the help in advance and sorry for the long post..

You should port and polish you heads, then youll really notice the difference.

a good tuner i use to take my old car too said, many people think that exhaust and intakes make a big difference but in reality they dont; unless you port the head. He said you can only force in so much air into the the same size hole.

Add in a X crossover as close to the front of the system as mechanically possible. I made my own TD exhaust in my garage with all mandrel bends, shop just did the welding for me. 2.5" from the headers to the tail pipe, high flow cat's as well. Had the car dyno'd awhile back absolutely no real difference in the plot vs any other oem plot that I've seen as far as low end torque goes. I made my own X crossover by butting two flowmaster Y merge pipe's together.

You need engine management to adjust your a/f ratio and timing and a good tune. If you can find a tuner get a UTEC (although they are currently working out some bugs in their system) an emanage Ultimate is a good second choice.
