I was wondering if I can remove the part you see in the pic right before the muffler and is it going to change the sound cause if it doesent then I dont want to change it. Thanks for any help in advance.

You can remove it and yes it's your resonator. But for heaven's sake DON"T!!! The coupe will sound really really bad, horrible. I've heard a sound clip of a before and after on freshalloy. Worst mod a coupe can get.

Not True. I removed mine, for awhile, before I put in my dual system. It really didn't sound too bad. Louder than stock, but on the whole not bad. I don't know if I felt any power, but IMO, the sound was not bad. To each his own, I guess.

lowrider, don't you drive a sedan? My comment's don't apply to the sedan. I've heard crea's sound clip of his sedan without the resonator/premuffler. If you drive a coupe, well, errrr...........yeah to each his own. (spoken in a friendly way). I do highly advise that one hear what it sounds like before they do it on a coupe.

Oh yes, that's the one that sounded awfull. Let me see if I can find it. It might not be easy to run a search for in on fresh alloy cause if I recall the title of the thread had nothing to do with it's subject. I'll try and go back, searching my own post's to find it.
