The Stillen CAI will give you all you'll ever need and
doesn't involve having your intake close to moisture.
MotorDyne makes spacers for your plem and the
owner Tony always available for your questions/help.
Keep watching this site for all the mods you'll need
like Z-Tube and exhaust system....it's all here!

Because through the lifetime that I've been on this forum, there have been multiple posts of people blowing their motors due to driving untuned or tuned improperly/weak internals/driver's lack of knowledge..
However people will still get turbos and superchargers regardless. Personal preference yo.. do your research, you figure it out.

ok i'm not gonna hydrolock my motor unless i go through some serious puddles lol which i always avoid and barely drive when it rains and also i have a aem bypass valve from my old car.....i just didnt know if the Z tube was any good ...basically its all on looks cause its not gonna give me like any noticeable hp....just didnt know if theres any problems with fitment for like the injen and nismo intakes....i might just do a jwt or stillen pop charger because of the stock look and plastic doesnt get hot like aluminum intakes do.....
do whatever intake you want. its a personal preference and you will never (ever) get one straight answer from this forum about which intake to get.
whatever you do, dont go cheap. stick with stuff you can trust rather than something that will save you a few bucks and fvck you over in the end.
i have the ztube/k&n and i love it. but if i had to do it all over again then i would have gotten the stillen airbox because i hate the look of most aftermarket intakes. people say you will gain the most with stillen airbox..but you really wont get anything from an aftermarket intake because the stock intake is already designed very well. its just too quiet!

I've seen gains with most intakes... you'll get biast opinions for 99.7% of the people that have intake systems on their cars because only a certain handful of them would R&D multiple systems.
So yea, do a search, most people will say that the intake they have on their car is the one that works best, "who will convince you more?" is the question.

"whatever floats your boat"
Hyedrolocking!?!?! HAHAHA! You guys are funny!!! Stop trying to drive your G's through lakes!!!!! LOL
Also, if you're driving through areas with puddles that deep, then just get an AEM bypass valve and slap it on your CAI intakes! NEWBS!!!!
From my stand point.... in theory, the Stillen intake should have the best gains. Less piping, quicker throttle response, no sacrifice on low end. The Stillen air box keeps the heat out, and alows cool air to flow through. The air temp may not be as cool as the cold air induction style intakes, but its not going to make much of a difference once it runs through the intake arm and plenum. And if you're worried that much about air intake temps, then a person with a short ram/heat shield style intake can always make a "ram air" from the lower vent and guide the air up into the air box. With that being done, a long tubed cold air induction intake setup will have nothing over a short ram with heat shield.

lol yea i still dont know why people get all worried....on my old car my intake was lower than my body kit and i was fine....just avoided driving through puddles and if i did go slow and get a bypass valve just in case......lol

Injen as well, i spent a good two weeks looking up as many dynos as i could and found Injen to show the most gains for the g35 coupe. I put it on along with a 5/8 plenum spacer and I am extremely happy with the results.
oh yeah, it sounds mean as hell now too, not at all ricey, just mean.

I am glad you did your extensive research on things.. because that's how we get the best things for our own cars correct? REGARDLESS what people say, or try to prove though, it will always be on personal preference.
You know how I know it will always, no matter what, be on personal preference?..
I noticed how you have 8000k aftermarket bulbs. Fact says, the higher the kelvin temperature of an aftermarket bulb the lower the light output. Technically 8000k is noticeably higher than a stock bulb, which rates at 4300k, 8000k would probably be close to a blue/purple color. Having that been said, you can truthfully say that you sir, Mr. Garyv01, bought your bulbs to make your car look "nicer" correct? Because knowing that you are willing to do enough research for an intake, you'd condone the same research to go forth to the range of vision that you would have at night, correct? I personally got my aftermarket bulbs that are rated at 5500k, sacrificing SOME light output for the sake of a little better looking shade.
But then again, it's all on personal preference, right?..
