I installed my HKS exhaust and Stillen sway bars on a lift. It took just over an hour with the use of air tools. If I had to do it again without the use of a lift, I would gladly paid the $70 to have a shop install the exhaust. I can't imagine myself crawling around under the car on jack stands and trying to break loose the nuts and bolts . . . But then again, a youngster should have no issues. Regardless of whom installs your new exhaust . . . Enjoy! You are going to love it!

Edit: Oh, by the way . . . Be sure to wipe down all of the polished stainless steel components of finger prints, smudges, etc. after the install. This will help eliminate any potential unsightly discoloring of the said parts, as your new set-up seasons.

why did you add a twin exhaust to a corolla? FLAME ON!!!Originally Posted by Geez35
Don't you need a blowtorch to cut the current exhaust off of? Then a welder to weld the HKS on. I'm just guessing. When I added twin exhaust to my Corolla some year’s back this is what they did.

Do it yourself it takes longer to jack the car up and put it on stands than it does to take the OEM exhaust off and put the new one on.
