Y Pipe, stock exhaust..worth it?

after reading and almost buying an hks exhaust, ive thought it over a little more and especially after my z-tube mode, i believe i want to keep the stock exhaust. Ive had recommendations to simply replace the Y-Pipe and it should enhance the stock sound alot more. Would it?

Are their any Y-Pipes out there that are brand name quality? Besides the tanabe one, i dont really know of any others. I was looking at some ebay random ones but you know how it goes....you get what you pay for

So could use some suggestions.
