Another spacer question (i did search)
Another spacer question (i did search)
i am planning on getting a MD 5/16'' or 1/2'' iso thermal spacer and i have read that 5/16 gives accross the band gains while 1/2 gives higher gains but at higher ends. i know that 5/16 can keep engine cover while 1/2 cant as well.
my question is, is the only reason most people are getting the 5/16 is to keep engine cover, cause i dont care about the cover and want more power, but will i feel or get more power w/ 5/16 or 1/2, i understand that 1/2 gets more in the higher ends but is it really that much more? does the 5/16 keep up w/ the 1/2 if the 5/16 is all the way through?
they are both around same price so that is why i dont know which one is really that much better or is it the cover thing?
thanx in advance, adam

Spacers...............
I installed the 1/2" MotorDyne spacer after reading
an article in SportZ mag that showed across the
rpm band that the 1/2" gave better results. And yes,
the engine cover will not fit. But that just gave me
an opportunity to have another mod.........
Give Tony @ MotorDyne a call, he'll answer all your
questions......661-993-5111.........LOL
