Supposedly they did - the ones we've swapped out were no less than 2-3 months old. The new version, V2, of their cats came out basically in January for wider availability...they really came out in December 2005.

Considering our CATS only came out about 2 months ago...and we've swapped out and sold to many of their cat users...leads me to believe the problem was not addressed fully.

All I can attest to is experience on that front...

my info is straight from the nismo guys who just recieved their first shipment of the new crawford cats a couple weeks ago.

OK - so this is V3 of their CATS...hmmm...I hope, for their sake, they got it right the 3rd time...

No bog black clouds of smoke unless you overrev

There is smell - not as bad as non-resonated, but depending on your mods, and how rich or lean the car is, it will make a difference as well.

Yea I know, but I have time. Originally I was going to wait for mods till Spring, but ended up doing some stuff real early. Now I'm trying to hold back.

I doubt you will find a used set because it seems like everyone is replacing everything else with ours. Not the other way around. We are running a sale through the 15Th of Oct. don't miss out...Tony

Good luck on finding a used set of Fast Intentions cats. You won't find them easy. I've had a few different high flow cats since i've owned the coupe and now I'm one of those people switching over to Fast Intention high flow cats from the crawford ones.

There was nothing wrong with the Crawfords I had before. I did have a clearance issue, but that was easily remedied by bending/hammering the heat shield. I just wanted something different and intend to go with a full fast intension exhaust from the cats all the way back to the exhaust (as soon as they start offering different tips for out of state buyers ). Plus, I was impressed with the construction/welds and cat that fast intentions was using.

Before the crawfords I had the Random Technology high flow cats (with the stainless steel core) mated to my borla exhaust. They sounded great and gave some gains on the dyno but eventually, they imploded and one of them blew out completely.
