Stillen TP experience

I might be buying some Stillen test pipes (non resinated). My question is, do you think it would be worth $100? I've never heard any G/Z with test pipes of any brand so I am worried about the rasp. I like the sporty sound, but there is always a line that can be crossed. I have Searched the site high and low but cant find a direct answer to my question. Thanks in advance.

BTW, I have the Stillen True Dual exhaust installed already.

One of the guys out at the track the other night had them on a stock exhaust and it made the exhaust note lower for sure (more american muscle). It didnt sound raspy at all on the factory exhaust, but on something that flows better like an aftermarket exhaust idk how it sounds. If you do put the pipes on post sound clips i want test pipes as well, but want to hear it first.

I have the stillen as well

Wouldn't you need to put the cats back on for a smog check? Or do not do that yet your state? What a pain in the *** !!!

That's the only thing that keeps me from doing it.

I also have the Stillen True Dual exhaust with headers and kinetix hi-flow cats. It sounds good except for a moderate amount of rasp when the exhaust is not fully warmed up. Otherwise it sounds awesome. I had resonated test pipes on beforehand and it would rasp nonstop over 3k whether it was partial or full throttle. I'm sure the straight pipes would be even worse.
