Just installed Kinetix SSV manifold and HKS hi-power catback exhaust!!!
last night i have my friend to install Kinetix SSV manifold and HKS hi-power catback exhaust to my 06 G since he owns a shop and i definately could tell the difference in sounds...but not the performance wise...i don't feel that much power...than i sent almost $2500 dollars already...hmm... how much hp should i have gained with those mods. oh right now i have jwt popcharger, ztube also.
try to get it on a dyno if you can. it can only tell you how much power you're making now. you'll need a baseline to see what you started at. you can compare to average numbers of other baselines. since you only have breathing mods i doubt you're making that much power to the wheels, you may have even lost some power down low. the mrev+ would be the best mod for proven gains, but i don't know if it will work with the kinetix ssv you have now.

Yeah, the kinetix manifold on a NA engine is said to make no gains, but the people that have said this i dont think had a air/fuel controler or any type of piggy back system.
With that much airflow dirrectly into the engine you are probably going to be running extremely lean. I would recommend to either get a piggy back system or a airflow controler (apexi S-AFCII is what i have) to manage the air and fuel and then i think you will see some gains.
The kinetix manifold has to much direct air to the engine so i think thats why people see negative gains because the enigne doesnt function properly it has to much air and not enough fuel. If you get a piggy back system of some kind and have it tuned at a shop (they tune it on a dyno) you will see gains then i believe. It will manage how much air is taken into the engine and how much fuel is spit in as well.

how much is the ssv? isnt it like a grand or something? so many things i could buy with a grand..okay maybe not that much lol..but i could get something cheaper/more useful than the ssv

) it still looks cool!
