I went with other. Im not a fan of the Greddy, its too boring. The HKS is too ricey and high-pitched for me.

Either go with Fast Intentions Intimidator or Injen. Just remember that FI has awesome customer service and zero to little drone and excellent gains. IMO, Fast Intentions FTW!

i like the fast intentions, but i think im ready for a different tone other than stock. I got the greddy for 1300 installed, and im currently checking to see what i can do the HKS for. If i can get the HKS max 1400 installed i think im doing that instead.

wish there where more sound clips of the greddy exhaust - thats the only one i have found on the net (of the new evo TT version).

Also, im sure it does, but the HKS is a turbo friendly exhaust correct?.....most freeflow exhaust - just double checking, i know the greddy is specifically tuned (so says greddy) for a turbo kit.

I love my greddy Evo2. I would have gotten the HKS but I didnt like the rear section design & tips. it just looks heavy. & whats up with the two torpedo looking things on top of the rear mufflers?!

They are called 'dead chambers'. They affect performance negatively, BUT are used for tuning. Pulses get caught in the chamber and bounce back to help cancel unwanted tones. The size and design of the chamber is directly proportioned to the tone the manufacturer is looking to achieve. They basically help to achieve what the cheap or bad designed mufflers can't do.

Some Audi's have them as stock as well, mostly turbo's from what I know, as they tend to have real low tones.
