kitties with headers

ive searched around and cant find anything....how do HFC's sound with headers and a stock exhaust....i want to do this to tone it up a little bit but i dont want ANY rasp!!!

Somebody on here is running that set-up. Heard a vid, didn't sound raspy. The guy actually suction cupped a camera to the side of his car, it actually amplified the sound of the stock exhaust, and I don't remember hearing rasp.

They increased the overal volume and gave it a bit deeper sound, for me... ...but that may be mostly from the HFCats. Had them installed at the same time.

FWIW, the OEM rear section seems more than capable of accomodating the flow in my NA application.

If you haven't already, add a Z-tube and drop-in filter to give the intake a growl that really complements the exhaust mods.

I'm planning this exact setup in the spring. Strup headers with FI Metallic Cats.

Maybe I'll put some cooler tips on the exhaust or something
