Yes another HKS thread, this time dynos please
I've searched and searched and besides the import tuner dyno plot I have not found another HKS hi power dyno. Does anyone have a dyno plot against their baseline vs with HKS? Anyone's butt dyno feel any difference after installing the hks? I'm torn, I want to pick up an exhaust but if there is no real dyno gain, I like the looks of the HKS but for half the price I'd like with a tanabe that looks great too and sounds great its just not a true dual, but like I said if a true dual doesn't make any kind of noticeable power whats the point spending 800 more?

exhaust?
we had a 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT Dyno at Churchs Automotive (CA) on a dynapack 2 years ago and it had a 6.5wHP gain at the peak.. not much difference.. in terms of performance i'm sure a motor with a spacer will out perform a motor with a HKS Hi-Power TI Exhaust... numbers dont lie.. but on the side note IMO I'd get it if I had extra cash to blow just cause that things sexy, shiny, and sounds badass =P

due to the higher mid range torque etc is why the spacer/mrev would out perform. Reason I'm baffled is that makes sense but on the drag strip forum someone posted times w/ and w/o spacer/mrev and the 1/4 was no different.
It does make sense the spacer/mrev would give a lot more low end punch, I guess the HKS you wouldn't notice a gain. I haven't heard one in person but everything I read on them is great. I guess a side note between spacers and exhaust is that I really want to keep the factory warranty and I know its hard to detect the mrev but better safe than sorry is my motto and an exhaust should raise no brows at the stealership
