Just curious... couldn't you get any 350Z exhaust with a 6" extention pipe to make it work? I always thought that was the way the Nismo one worked if you wanted to put it on the G35.

the nismo exhaust requires a 6" extension to the midpipe and a 2" extension to the tips

Just get a Fujitsubo (spelling?) cat-back, it fits the G perfectly. Apparently they make them for Nismo.

haha here we go again..i still think that alot of people on here get the word" throaty" mixed up. Throaty is what american cars sound like....not the HKS or injen. Anyways, you wont find a throaty exhaust for the g35. None of the notes are low enough..its a 6 cylinder engine remember....

I replaced my Injen for a Stillen ( couldn't take the rattle ).

I have test pipes on my stillen, and it sounds like a motorcycle.

I'm okay with that tho, for now at least

Give it a few months of hard driving. Once the glass blows outta the cans you'll know what drone is! Imagine sitting inside a large bass drum while someone is doing 64th note rolls....DRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDR! !!!!
Especially between 2k and 2500 rpm. The H pipe in the new system may help a little.

+1^

I have the injen t1 tip...only way i can explain the drone is a constant low bass beat that doesn't stop unless the rpm are above 3k or below 1.5...other than that it sounds meaner than lindsay lohan stuck in rehab.
