Exhaust Question & Advise

Hey there cousins. I thought I could come here for some help, so here goes.
My ride is an FX35, and I've been wanting to upgrade the breathing out back. So few of us at fx_org have experimented with this, cant figure why, but since our rides have similar setup, I thought I could bug you guys for some expert answers.

My ride is N/A with breather mods up front. Crawford plenum, Z-tube, Stillen CAI. ( I also do not plan to blow the motor at this time)

I have the option from another org member that has a one off built exhaust including a Y. I dont have a lot of time to experiment in my busy kids carpool schedule, so I'm asking you guys your opinion on theis setup, pros/cons, before I commit.

The specs are as follows: both sides of the Y-pipe are 2.5" in dia. until it comes together into a 3" single center pipe, this center pipe continues through a Magnaflow SS 5" dia x 16" resonator up until the single transverse mounted muffler. From the Magnaflow polished SS muffler, 2.5" short sections end at the 4" Magnaflow double-walled SS polished tips on either side.

My main concern is torque loss from the 3" pipe. This system was initially designed for a 45 by Magnaflow design team. Also, how do you think it will affect the sound?

I appreciate all your replies.
