Updated thread. Crawford headers....installed
It's obviously crawford headers. I bought them a long time ago from the forums for $650 shipped, and they were new. I had them coated by Jet Hot. I actually wanted the flat black, but this is what I have, so I'll deal with it.

So again, I wanted black coating. They gave me chrome. They offered to have me ship it back and they would redo it, but I didn't have time for it.
I asked Jethot if it would cause any problems if I spray painted a light coat of flat black hi temp engine paint on them, and they said that it would be fine. I wouldn't care if the paint chipped or became scratched, I just didn't want the headers to look so obviously aftermarket.
So I had them installed this weekend at Street Image. They did a great job, and it took two days. This must be the mother of all header installs.
A few notes:
- Seems to pull harder at high end, but my butt dyno is really out of calibration.
- The jet hot coating really keeps the engine bay temp down. I can put my fingers on the headers within 30 minutes after a hard drive, they're barely warm at that point.
- the black spray paint is messed up, but again, this makes them look less obvious.
Driver side.
Driver side going down to the stock cats.
My other mods are popcharger, intake tube from Grubbs, ported TB, crawford V5, a 1/4" spacer, polished intake manifold/plenum, Y-pipe (copy of fuji), japtrix B pipe.
Passenger side. It's hard just getting clear pictures of these things. I can't imagine the install.
