HKS Exhaust Install
K, Guys i need some help. I searched this topic but found no help. I just purchased the HKS exhaust for my coupe and waiting for it to come in. I'm debating installing it myself or take it to a performance shop in town. I'm handy around the garage as i try to do everything that i can to my car before i take it somewhere. Brakes, oil changes, things of that nature. I have all my own tools, air wrench, compressor. Is this something I can tackle alone or should i get a friend to help me with it or take it in and let someone else do it?
This might help, it gives you an idea of what you would need. It isn't for HKS, but here ya go:

definitely DIY. only takes about 45 mins to an hour...simple tools and patience will get the trick done. it'd be easier imo to have a friend help you but it isnt necessary to. it's a direct bolt off, bolt on process.
if you do decide to get it installed professionally, i wouldnt pay more than 55-60 bucks tho..

45 to 1 hour is optimistic without a lift. With 2 jack stands and a floor jack and taking your time will be at least 2-3 hours. You will be on your back majority of the time. Definately get a friend to help.
This is fo sure a DIY. Shops charge <80 bucks for install. Did mine like this past weekend. you will love it!

I had my brother and his friend install it..It wasn't bad at all...btw did anyone have a problem with the passenger's center pipe snugging onto the differential bolt?
