is there a lot of drone associated with this exhaust? What mph is it the worst when you are near or at highway speeds?

isnt the HKS raspier than this exhaust. I have a friend with test pipes, headers and hks on his Z and it sounds really raspy. If you arent doing any other modification to the car than I think it is a good sounding exhaust, (HKS) but probably modifying it later than it changes the sound of the exhaust.

The HKS is not raspy at all unless some other modifications are done.

HKS... Deep Growl, Exotic tone. Sort of like an F1 car

As you said yourself, your friend modified his system (headers, TP) which, depending on the type, can make any exhaust raspy

.

dos he have resonated test pipes? If he doesn't there's where your rasp is coming from. The HKS system is rasp-less

not entirely true slap some test pipes on the hks and you may get some rasp, unfortunately.

resonated test pipes or not, most exhausts will still have rasp with test pipes. the resonators are there to reduce rasp. however, most will still produce some rasp.

if you like that you must have owned a civic or a bike? The best sounds IMO are the deep solid sounding exhaust with no drone or rice
