no for real, did you have to remove the bumber or fender?

 

I didn't have to remove the front bumper at all. I do have to remove the front wheel well. It took me about 2-3 hours to install.

a few thing i noticed after the installation. the combine sound of the exhaust and the intake is louder now. More importantly i feel much quicker response above 3000 rpm. I especially like the sound.

Also i remove the foam and the platic piece where the air filter reside. I haven't punch to 90 mph and leave it neutral. Something that i would never do anyway. I haven't got any problem with engine stalling despite some member warning me not to remove the foam and plastic piece.

I would say it worth the upgrade. The power, i didn't notice much different but the performance is what i notice more.

I got the intake from perfomance nissan. There web page quote for 269 but if you tell them u r from g35driver forum, they should knock couple of more bucks. I don't want to give the exact price because i can't guaranteed the price nor that price was for me only. But if you tell them that you are from this forum, they will take care of you.

I have a FULL D.I.Y. I will be posting today on the Nismo intake for the Gc. It has a ton of detailed pics, audio clips before and after, and a video drive by I just shot today. The sound beyond 4K rpms is great. I'm hosting it myself because it's so big.
