Headers, G35 Sedan

I recently installed the Xerd headers for my G35 sedan (company web is www.xerd.com...the jump in power and slightly louder exhaust is great! My only downside, like so many others who have installed headers for the coupe...a clicking/flutter noise at low RPM's and a metalic vibration at higher RPM's. My installer and I couldn't feal any leaks, so I don't know just how to fix the problem.

Also, I removed the exhaust resonator and muffler and installed a larger single in and dual out muffler....it was far to loud, I had them take it off.

G35 Sedan MT, Black/Black, Xerd headers, Alpine 5 channel and MQ Quart speakers

Re: Headers, G35 Sedan

some y pipes need spacers for the z/g cars. maybe you need to shim up the cross member like the Random Tech Cats kit has you do. Go search for Random Technology Cats on the my350z boards' engine forum.

let us know, headers are on my list for next month.
