They're both good systems.

I was deciding between these two and went with FastIntentions due to customer service, exhaust weight, and matched high flow cats.

You can't go wrong with either system. Both are high quality 2.5" stainless steel. I've seen several stillen systems dyno but never a FI. Gen 1 and gen 2 are stillen sedan systems. Stillen now has a single pipe system for the coupe and 350z in addition to their dual system. Someone said magnaflow makes it for them but i'm not sure.

F/I products are VERY WELL built. My F/I cats are REAL stainless steel with STRONG welds. My borla...although stated that it was, was NOT real stainless steel (just "coated" crap). Welds were alright on the Borla and exceptional on the F/I. SS has that greenish tint to it

I have not seen the Stillen in person (only heard it - and I know for sure that both the borla and F/I are quieter)

Just give Tony a call or PM him. You won't be sorry you went FI. No drone at all and doesn't break up (Tone) at WOT like some others. Forget the rest .......... FI is the best!!!

Hey by the way - FWIW

Tony is now offering the system with other tips...even tips you provide!

Truly a great custom solution to a product already on top!

Lifetime warranty on workmanship. 1 year on materials. No warranty coverage for FI/Nitrous cars. Custom tunes can/will shorten the life of the mufflers deeply, as the extra rich/lean conditions can really beat them up.

Call Tony at the shop for more info. - I don't want to be mis-quoted on this.

I'd have to disagree. Stillen's parts used on their exhaust = higher quality than sebring used on FI, and it is also a true dual 2.5 all the way. I've talked to one owner of an FI system, who reported loud droning from the day he got it. Stillen TD put down the most power in an independent test of several systems. The Stillen will give you the best gains w/ an aggressive yet unobtrusive sound, choice of tip style to suit your preference, and a lifetime warranty. What do you get from FI..nothing compared to Stillen.

Overall, the Intimidator is a better system. Its built with higher quality parts, its a true dual system that uses 2.5" piping all the way back. The system gives you some of the best gains you can get with no drone, amazing noise, great classy looks, and the best customer service you could ask for.

Some real research and testing might do you some good....I don't mean to be disrespectful, and I know you have a Stillen system, based on your sig, but remember as well, sound is subjective and Stillen's system REGULARLY TESTS at only 7HP gain, not their claimed.

Several people have independently tested their FI systems, and have more than corroborated FI's findings and results.

The top 3 out there are HKS, Stillen and FI - not in any particular order mind you. Stillen and HKS are big names, with NO customer service satisfaction that is measurable.

Fast Intentions is small enough to know and service you, and big enough to build one of the highest quality systems available.

EDIT: The stillen components are magnaflow standards = nothing custom designed. The Sebring mufflers were custom designed by Fast Intentions and manufactured by Sebring, just for this application.

Maybe Im biased but I never even considered the Stillen system when I was in the market(both times) for an exhaust system. And after hearing Tony tell me about all the Stillen systems he's taken off cars and replaced with his own, I was ever more set on the FI system. Thats in addition to the other qualities the FI system has. But hey, when it comes to sound, its all subjective...the FI system is one of the best sounding systems available...thats just my opinion

I have to comment on the "loud droning". No way, no how, sorry that
info is just not accurate at all.

BTW The F/I is also a true 2.5.

Also after the system is seasoned as mine is. You get more of that
VQ note back but just on the aggressive side.

Some people have found ours to be too loud. But the numbers are very minimal considering how many we have sold. Like extreme said, sound is subjective. What I can tell you is from the design I have seen of the Stillen good luck to anyone trying to make the same dyno numbers that Stillen claims. 90 plus degree bends going in to the mufflers and coming back out. Not good for performnace at all. 2 Y pipes back to back in order to try an achieve an X pipe. That is half fast in my opinion...Tony

Well I love my FI system along with the tests pipes there is a slight drone at 2krpms but I am not at that rpm long enough to say it is annoying. The power I picked up, well we shall see this coming week.
