HKS Noise Level

I live in PA, and the noise level according to the vehicle code is:

soft site
35mph or less - 75db
35mph or more - 82db

hard site
35mph or less - 78db
35mph or more - 84db

This is for vehicles weight rating of less than 6,000 pounds

What is the noise level for the HKS?

Apparently not, seems like PA is worse. Ugh. I think I should say screw it and just get it.

if you know how to drive your car, youll know how to control it and be quiet when the cops are around.

when you're at idle or just cruising at 50-60 mph, it is very quiet... when you get on it, that's a different story, but even then, it's not that loud to me...

Too bad you didnt, I drove by 3 cops today that were standing outside their cars, didnt even flinch when I started my car and cruised on by. Fast Intentions is a better system anyways

califronia noise limit for vehicles weight rating of less than 6,000 pounds is 95 db or less.
When they did mine they held the rpms steady on 4,5k and messured the dbs. Mine came up to 84.5 db.

if u have an exhaust they can give u ticket no matter what. the key is to get it checked by a state authorized place and have the paper in the car at all times.

unless our cars are strait piped all the way through it can not be more than 95dbs. Every aftermarket exhaust is less than 85 dbs i am sure.
