Loosing gas fast...

After installing HKS, spacer, Plenum, z-tube, and popcharger.. I had reset my ECU.. And after that I feel like my car is running out of gas really fast.. Before I could went more than 300 miles before light came on.. Now it's hard to make it to 300 miles.. (I am talking about long high trips).. Is it because I haven't got tuned?? Making me worry about maybe my gas tank has leak..HAHA..

Could be you just can't get your foot off the floor now with the new upgrades

That, and I hear that it'll take the ECU a few miles (several hundred) to fine tune the Air/Fuel ratio after a reset.

Thanks for reply finally.. Hah.. I've driven more than 2000 miles now after reset.. And it still does that.. So.. I have no clue.. Oh.. And wierd thing is when my gas line goes all the way down to the bottom line I can keep drive around for while and the line will go back up littlebit.. So maybe my gas tank indicator is messed up.. Cause for while even I fill up my tank the gas line wouldn't go all the way to the top.. It will stay around the top first and then after few miles it will go beyond the top line.. Does this sound wrong? Or is this normal.. Cause before whenever I fill up gas it will go to the top instantly.. So.. I don't know what to do.. Oh.. And sorry about my grammer if there is anything wrong.. Heh.. Korean..

heavy foot = low gas mileage.

ps At the empty line on my car, I still have a quarter tank left.

Gas gagues are never very accurate. I just fill my tank up when the light comes on and it usually takes 17.5 gallons. At that point it's pretty much on the last line.

Sorry I can't help you anymore then I aready did though.

I just topped off my gas to the point where it spilled and turned on my car and the gas level was half way between the top and the first 1/4 tank line. My guage almost never goes to the top.

Never had this problem - gas gauge very accurate. When filled it goes to the top. Usually fill around 280 miles or so - all city driving and it eats up nearly 16 gallons. I'm lucky if I get 18 mpg, but my foot is on it all the time...

throw the pop-charger away and put the stock intake on with k&n drop in and do a fuel injector cleaning into the valves and everything and u will notice better performance and gas mileage.

just so you won't feel bad, i got the same issues, with my gas gauge. pretty much, the light goes on when i have 5 gallons left. now, i know teh fuel light should pop on a few gallons before empty, but 5 gallons is more than it shoudl be. and this is after i had my fuel receiver (or i guess sender) replaced by the dealership. i just said screw it and jsut accept it for now.
