I was just wondering has anyone tried to put a diffrent tube on other then the 350Z OEM tube? I would love to put a polished SS tube on with my Stillen air box. Any ideas?

nice polished metal tubes get hot...defeating a cool air strategy.

DaveO and I have wrapped out using thermo-tec products. I went with the lace up...he used the thermal fabric and attched it using the metallic heating duct tape.

I like the idea and im sure it does its purpose but it is UGLY as hell!!! Im all for performance but I need some kind of looks. But I also dont like the ztube also has slinkie part where it bends witch isnt realy good for air flow.

Humm maybe a modded ebay intake might do the job.. It will be a cheap mod and it will be a one of a kind hehe.. Im going to look into it and see what i can do..
