Has anyone considered the VQ35HR OEM headers?

As the title states. Since they are using the VQ35HR in the current Z, I would think the HR headers have a strong possibility of bolting up to the VQ35DE and the cats. I really doubt the manifold bolt pattern is any different on the Hr. For those that don't know, the HR uses true headers vs the log/semi-header design of VQ35DE. The advantages I see are:

1) superior fit
2) lower noise due to thicker wall tubing
3) reduced underhood heat because of thicker wall tubing
4) better R&D
5) potentially better power than aftermarket headers?

Everythingg35.com currently isn't listing OEM parts for the HR at this moment.

You gotta pic Dave? One issue is how close the cats have to be to light them off fast. Doesn't that essentially make then shorty type headers? Thus more of a high rpm type header vs a long tube torque type?

Hmm, seems they went to some lengths to get the tubes as long as possible before attaching the cat.

I think it is definitely a good idea Dave. Yet, I just can't justify spending 1k on labour...
