Smile newbie here

hey all. just purchaced a new 03 g35. silver 6speed. love the car. its got a borla exhaust and ugly 20 inch rims. i'm gonna change them soon. anyway, i'm looking for a good intake. any sugestions?

AEM (cai) it also have c.a.r.b sticker 50 state legal

doesnt matter. itll make your car sound cool and that's about it. i like the way the injen and stillen intakes sound.

Yup... you pay for the sound and looks.. i got my AEM (cai) from redline for $200
i like it since summer is around the corner

i wouldnt concern myself with which makes the most power. the difference in gains, if any, between the two is negligible.

thanks for the imput. i'll probably go with injen cuz i allready got aem on my escalade. fuigure i'll go with something different.

what do you guys think of borla? it was on the car when i got it. it sounds really good. not too sure if it's making much power though. thinking about hks.

Injen is the loudest no doubt! For an exhaust......... it's your ears baby! I love my Fast Intentions HFC and catback from them. Picked up 13whp peak from them! There are a lot of HKS fans here that have picked up similar gains, so it's a matter of what sounds good to you. Face it, if you could choose between an exhaust that gave you 10 ponies more and sounded good or an exhaust that gave 15 more but sounded.....well......ok, you'd pick the 10 one. Hey, you have to listen to it every time you drive the car. Like I said it's your ears. Good luck and welcome to the board.
