Which one do you guys prefer? Please give reason why you support it! Still pretty new to this game, and want to know what it is you guys think!
are you looking for a whole new upper plenum? such as crawfordz, aps tallboy, and kinetix?
or are you looking for the more common plenum spacer? such as motordyne and skunk2?
i have the motordyne 5/16" spacer an am very happy with it. any plenum mods you do arent going to be a night/day, "omg i neeeeeeed this mod" difference. having that said, i still love my 5/16" spacer as it does please the butt-dyno and add to the growl under the hood.
imo, stay away from skunk2's 5/8" spacer. waaay too big. when will people understand bigger is not always better
lol

lolWell, now that you asked, I had to look more into it! I would say that I do like the kinetix manifold, but for 800.00 bones, that would have to wait! I still need to get my exhaust first! Oh well, we'll have to wait for a hot minute for these things!
Kinetix is nice looking but gains are not there. 5/16" MD spacer is by far the best bang for the $.

based on recommendation by GT Motorsports, the spacer is better suited than plenums because of a couple things:
cheaper
less chance of having a vacuum leak when/if you ever go FI
provide similar gains

Perhaps not crap, but based on everyones' own personal choices . . . They prefer the Motordyne plenum spacer. I have read some negative reviews here with regard to the Skunk. You may want to perform a search.Originally Posted by FaDz

Get the spacer from MotorDyne. What a difference it makes in sound and performance. So worth it

Don't exclude the Cosworth that a lot of people are waiting on. Plus if you wanted to go extreme, you could look at Speed Force Racing's one. Yeah both are more than the Kinetix SSV, but those aren't paper weights.
On anything lesser in price, the Motordyne Spacer w/ Mrev+ or 2 is great, or any of the other plenums like Kinetix V+, Crawford, APS Tallboy. Depending on how much you want to spend, can't really go wrong with any of those.

True, the SFR one casket style one is very nice.
That Cosworth one looks to be awesome!

So Motordyne is the route that I think I'll be taking! At least for now!
Okay, which one is better for out cars? the 5/16" or the 1/2"? Also, which version? Just the spacer, the Iso thermal, or the copper thermal is recommended!
the 1/2" will give you 1-3 more hp up top. 5/16" lets you keep the engine cover, 1/2 makes it a really really tight fit (hits the hood insulation)
If you need someone to install it for you, or help with installing it just let me know, i'd be more than willing to help out. I've installed the 5/16" on my car and MREV2 on another members car.
