I just got quoted... $500 to ship an exhaust over to AL. Why does this sound like too much? Anyone help?????

 

another option they gave me was to piece the exhaust out into several boxes....

 

After you have so much weight in one box they charge you a "freight" fee, freight fees are very expensive. I would peice it out into different boxes and save about 400+ dollars.

thanks guys. just got back from fedex. i just bought four boxes and cut them apart and made two big boxes. Spent about 10 bucks or so on boxes and tape. And i cost around 50 to ship them. So yea... 60 sounds heck of a lot better than 500
