Stillen Hi Flow Installation

Hey guys, just got my Stillen Hi flow today and had trouble installing the bolt that goes on the bottom. After an hour of trying to get it in, and scratching up my arm, I quit. Any tips for this? Is it okay to leave it out and just have the bolt on top holding it down? Thanks ahead

Re: Stillen Hi Flow Installation

it is best to get it on there, try either of these....

1. Remove the air duct in the center-front of the engine compartment, and put arm through the hole into the stillen duct to put the screw on....
or
2. remove left wheel, and wheel well liner for the install of new fogs or what not.... then you have a perfect view into that little tight spot and tightening that nut is no prob at all!!!

Peace

get a friend to do it for you with a small arm. Gurgen had a hell of time on mine... i did it in about 10 seconds.

being short has some advantages!!

I used Eric's #2 method. You get a complete side view of the air box. I didn't even have to nudge anything around, just stuck the bolt in and it just went straight in the threads. Thanks guys
