open exhaust... ok?
hey guys i have a quick question...
i got a Greddy SP2 exhaust from my friend and i installed it...
after putting in the exhaust, the mid pipe and the exhaust doesnt really line up... its off by 1/2 inch and there is a 1/2 gap between them... to put them together, i have to force the exhaust system and the midpipe really hard. (i found out im missing 2 bolts that holds them together after the install)
since i had to go to work, i just got some wires and tied them together...

i left it like that...
is it ok to leave it like that and drive around? until i get the bolts i mean... what going to happen if i do? is it going to hurt the car in any way?
it sounds AWSOME... but im worried about back pressure...
i can already feel the car lost major low end torque...
any advice will be appriciated...
thanks!

i love being unbolted!
if i put them together, it will def kill the sound... i kinda dont want to put them together now because i love how it sounds...
well if there is no negative side to it... i might keep it like that for a bit...

Good choice on the exhaust.

no problem i used to run my stock exhaust unbolted and a little more open than that all the time. no engine codes no problems with cops, even when they pulled me over they said nothing about the sound. only problem was a little bit of loss in bottom end but a gain up top.
