Bypass Valve
In the market of CAIs, would having a bypass valve, such as the Nismo CAI, make significant difference in preventing hydro locking rather then having a regular Injen CAI?
Currently I have the JWT with the chrome Z-tube and I just havent been feeling it all too well. My best friend has the Injen CAI and that just sounds WAY better IMO. Although he took out the piping that lead it all the way down to the bumper and he made it to a ram-air set up, still it sounds amazing.
My question is, I live in New England where the weather is messed up. Having the Nismo CAI with the bypass valve, would I be safe driving on the highway in the pouring rain? or no guarantees? Plus does the Nismo sound the same as the Injen?

well Injen sounds better than Nismo to me but to answer your question stay with the short ram just to be safe! do what your friend did with the Injen if you like the sound

I liked how the Nismo looked and it even had the bypass valve and that made it more appealing to me. Thats weird that it sounds different then the Injen, it almost looks like the same thing.
Anyone else has the Nismo intake with some feedback?
