i found this on bulletproofautomotive.com under 350z section
looks like the mrev2 + spacer

but on the site it's called the

It does look very similar.

Hope you have better luck on the NISMO diffuser than a lot of us others had. I waited about 3 months, got the wrong part in and had to wait another 2 months for the diffuser... ...only to find that it didn't fit worth a ****. It simply came up short on the end. Pretty big shock, considering not only the cost, but also the perfect fit of the NISMO front bumper.

I ended up selling mine and getting the KurumaZ replica, which fit absolutely perfectly! Not sure what the issue was, but hopefully NISMO fixed it, knowing that the competition was making a much better-fitting replica.

I've been extremely happy with the KZ replica. The slight tilt and shortness of the authentic NISMO diffuser was too noticeable to me, especially with it being black on IP.

After the fact, I noticed the NISMO-supplied pic never did show both ends. I posted a lot of pics of the replica after it was installed, along with others and their comments along the same lines.

Why take any chances?

MREV2 along with the 1/2 or 5/16 spacer have been proven to be great products. The price difference isnt even that big compared to this product.

Stick to MD.

True........... there really isn't any real secret to MD's spacer and MREV2. From looking at what they have it looks basically the same. As long as long as the lower plenum is from an 03-04 motor things will improve on your rev-up motor, if that's what you have. I have my own version of MD's MREV2 running on my car and I got better gain then what Tony's MREV gave me. I have the dyno's to prove this. I was talking to Tony about this and I ended up sending him one with the chance of going into business together or having him refer others to me. I deleted a few m ore features than he did and I also polished it to a 400+ finish. I posted my dyno on a previous thread but can't remember which, but when I get home, I'll post again. On the comparison dyno it was done same day, same dyno and all other conditions kept as close as possible as per Tony's instruction. I didn't even unstrap it from the dyno. Cost me $400 in dyno fees. As for Tony's dyno with my plenum he said he got 6hp gain (blip?) over his original plenum. I hope Tony is reading this and can chime in. I never saw the dyno of his runs with my plenum. He lastly said that he would polish his original plenum and see what he gets compared to his original numbers. I never seen these either. We left it that from plenum to plenum could be a difference too. So what is right??? Are you really getting the HP TQ what is quoted or was that just a good plenum. So as far as being safe with MD............ forget it. Unless you can make the EXACT same plenum you can't give a hard number. Casting leaves too much unknown. I have 6 of these downstairs in my basement just sitting there and probably are all a little different in some way. Sorry Tony but I told you I would post. Does MREV2 provide gains???? YES but how much..............???? Ever wonder why some people dyno more than others on the same dyno, even stock?

OK here we go. I posted this on my350z before not here. The single dyno chart is with my Ztube and a K&N drop in filter. The combined chart shows the following:

Blue (Run#8) is with FI's Exhaust with their HFC's and JWT pop
Red (Run#14) is with the above and MREV2 with the 5/16th spacer
Green (Run#17) is with my version of the MREV2 with the spacer

Now I can't say this is always the situation but this is what happened to me. The first mod will the truest to the Manufactures claims. After that well .......... it isn't ricer math that's for sure. Let me assure you I'm not attacking Tony or any of his products, but I'd love to see his dyno charts for the runs with my plenum and his after he polished it. If I were stinking rich, I'd love to dyno a MREV2 take it off and to my thing, re-install and re-dyno. You can send donations to..................

Well Tony and I tossed that idea around. We came to the conclusion that it could have been the two different MREV2's or the polishing. He then told me that he was going to polish the original MREV that he did the original dyno tests on to see if came up with the difference that I did. As stated above I did not see the dyno runs for this. I know Tony's working hard on his next project, so hopefully he'll have some time to post here. I'll fire him off an email and hopefully he'll respond. I have an modified upper plenum that I hope will bring my HP's up but will see.

And sorry to deviate again, but the NISMO diffuser was short on the upper right side, which was definately noticeable. Hope yours has a better fit. If so, post to let people know that the problem seems to be fixed. If it doesn't fit perfectly, and that's important to you, get the KZ replica and you won't be dissapointed at all.

Sorry, but I intentionally never snapped a pic of the original NISMO diffuser. To be honest, a was embarrassed and a little sickened by it after considering the cost and the 5 month wait I endured.

I do have great snaps of the KZ replica installed and contributed them to the review of that diffuser in the Reviews section back then.
