This is interesting. I'm interested in seeing what HP and Torque gains you have. At what RPM range does the car pull harder, and how much of a difference do you feel? Very cool...

I hope get a before/after dyno!

Major credit for such a project; we need much more of those.

The pull is a noticable amount guys and by that I mean everywhere. This is alot more than just putting on a manifold box. I can see why no one has done this. But I think the key factor here is in the lower runners. If you look at the manifold from the front air goes in in an x fashion. Or should I say on a stock set up more of a downward s fashion. What I have done is eliminated alot of the redirection of air downward. I have been in the import scene for a few years and never has a bolt on given me such results. Ususally a bolt on or 2 and you notice. I had the skunk spacer and underdrive pulley and when bolting those on the difference was slightly noticable. After removing the skunk and installing the new set up man-o-man. Huge difference. But as stated earlier im just blowin smoke till I get the dyno up. I'm looking for another revup g to dyno and then test after install. Its hard to find people willing to pony up the money though. I know it works I'm driving it and happy with the result. talk soon mike

I think that by matching your ports you really smoothened out the flow and maybe added to the velocity?? Looking forward to your dyno post. You have a before dyno or are you going to take it off and then put it back on?

Finally found a friend to hook it up and help out with the cause. We will be at the dyno soon with an 05 350z and the whole set up however we will be testing the outcome of both the shaved and ported non revup and the shaved and ported revup lower collectors. I feel the true power is hidden there. I have also designed a 350z style top little bigger than the tall boy. Will keep you posted mike

Install was a success on the 2nd 06 g35. However on this one i used the lower collector of a stock rev up. I found a couple of tricks on my install with the second go round. After install and start up the rpms dropped to around 500 stedy. We will be bumping the rpms back to around 750 and possibly advancing timing. I will keep you posted. Thanks for checking up mike

Welp I have installed 2 so far and both are still running good. However it seems my guy that was going to pay for the dyno work might have bailed on me. Its an okay thing with me, however I did give him a new top. I guess now with the new set up I get I might send it up to jeremy. No one really wants to pay out about 500 for dyno time. And in a way I knew it wasnt going to happen. Another thing I realized is that no one wants to part with there stock set up. This is a huge problem. No one will sell the lower collector to the heads. I realize this part is probably like 500 bucks at the dealer. So if anyone wants to keep the stock parts this mod isnt for you. By keeping the stock parts I have nothing to work on for the next set up. And the only way of finding the lower collector is on a junk motor. For the guys who have these spare parts they will want an arm and a leg for the parts. Another thing that was made clear was that powdercoating and the gaskets need to be paid for as well and not by me. thanks for checking in mike

Don't worry mike, I got a set waiting for you back home. As for dyno time, 500 is alot for a few hours on a dyno What shop is asking for that much? lol. Have you tried talking to performance nissan about gaskets and etc. they usually have great prices for everything. Maybe if we can find a stock car up in orlando, and I can find a good deal with dyno rates, I'll get you some dyno charts soon...

hey mike I can wait to get started on the poroject that we have been discussing. I am going to see about picking up those gaskets tonight after work so that I mock everything up and start measuring everything.
