i'm looking in getting either the JWT Pop Charger/Z tube combo or the Stillen Hi-Flow Intake/Z-Tube combo. is the extra $50 dollars worth it or it just doesn't really matter?
The difference is looks alone. There are no HP differences. You won't see any HP differences for our cars with after market intakes until you change part of the plenum. There are hundreds of threads on this very subject here: https://g35driver.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23

The Stillen is what I assume you mean? It actually still draws from both oem ducts and the side is open (but still closed off from the engine)

I see you kept the power duct off. did you notice any sound difference?
I think I have back on now. I believe there was a slight sound difference.

Yes I mean that. We can argue all day about this but I'm not going to. To each his own. It's great that we all don't mod exactly the same and we can come here and debate our merits over others. SOOOOO........... that being said. If we're sitting at the lights (strip of course
) and when the light goes green, we go WOT, who can suck or have the available air to be sucked up more? Yes cold is better but you need the oxygen to burn the fuel better correct? We can go on about Noz and FI and yes the intercooler but I'm not going to. I like my JWT and you like your Stillen. That's great until we find the "Holy Grail" of intakes and then we'll jump on that until someone comes out with one that will suck harder than
........................ we'll you get the point. Happy Modding.

Yeah, both are going to be within a hair of each other so.....hehe
But IMHO, the stillen has plenty of open area to draw from. The right side (in the picture) is wide open but is sealed off from the engine bay.
So to nickpick, I'd have to give the ever so slight nod to the stillen when going from a stop. (as when stopped the JWT will get it's initial draw of air from the hot engine bay).
I would like to give the Amsoil eU filter a try. Should be even easier to fit one for the JWT application as it's not nearly as boxed in.
