RT cats/Stillen Catback report - part II
RT cats/Stillen Catback report - part II
hey Guys
You already know that I have the RT cats installed along with the Stillen Cat back exhaust... I had reported that the car was VERY loud in the beginning and feared that it is just TOO loud.
Well, now that out about 300-500 miles on the combo, the exhaust sound has SETTLED DOWN a bit, and has a nice refined, full sound. Don't get me wrong, it is still considerably louder than stock, but it sounds incredible from the outside of the car (as it's driving by). The fullness of the sound is right on the money. Many people have heard it (Clint, Jason, et al.) and they can tell you their opinion as they wish...
Anyways, good luck guys... Can't wait to dyno this car in the next couple of weeks... will post of course as soon as i get it done.
Cheers

Yup, I've hear it and let me tell you ... it is LOUD and sounds like CRAP!!!
... j/k! Hehe.
I do like it. It has a very aggressive tone when in motion pulling through the gears from inside the cabin. In comparison, it was not louder than Jason's 350Z with Nismo exhaust plus other mods that I'm not aware of (again from the inside of the cabin).
