Best true dual exhaust tubing size for G sedan?

I am looking into getting a custom true dual with quad tips for my 2005 G sedan (yes, I know I will have to have the evap canister relocated). I will probably be using dual Magnaflow mufflers. My question is what size tuning is best for a N/A motor 2.25 or 2.5, and should I have resonators installed since I will now have two mufflers instead of one.

I like the look of the quad tips kinda like M3 or M5.

2.25 or 2.5 would be too big, you would loose your eg velocity, 2 inch should be more than enough, larger would be a good idea if you were going to add a power adder at some point, though...

Hey guys, i just got an 07 G35 S...I wanted to change my dual exhaust tips into quad exhuast tips. I don't want to upgrade the catback, just the tips for the look. Has anyone done this yet? Pics?

The Borla dual is 2.25 and the stillen is a little larger. If you plan to stay N/A I would run 2.25. If you plan for some good breather mods I would go 2.5".

Nothing's wrong with going 2.5 if you're going to add more mods. That is if you don't mind losing just a little down low and gaining more up top.
